“For now I
think I’m enjoying my freedom, you can’t say never. I’m not thinking towards
that direction,” he said. The former Bolton Wanderers midfielder also revealed
that he has no qualification to become the new Super Eagles handler but he
might go into management in the future. “I don’t think I have any
qualification, I don’t want to be tempted to go into management,” he added. Jay
Jay Okocha was a delight to watch in the recent Joseph Yobo testimonial match
played in Port Harcourt and many Nigerians still believe he hung his boots too
soon. However, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has urged all those
interested to jostle for the Super Eagles coaching job to submit their
applications before Wednesday, July 6, deadline. This comes even as the
country’s football federation says it will meet by Friday, July 8, to look
through all applications and release a shortlist.
